Cesare Taccone
Cohocton Town CouncilmanI have been fortunate to live in Cohocton for the past 21 years and to have been able to visit this beautiful area for many years before that. Lately, I have become concerned that the present town administration has lost sight of the fact that it was elected to serve the interests of all of our residents, and that they have stopped listening to the concerns of everyday citizens. I would like the opportunity to serve on the Cohocton Town Board in order to bring local government back to the people of our community. I have a lifetime of experiences that I believe would allow me to achieve this goal. I am a graduate of Jefferson High School in Rochester, and attended both the U of R and RIT and have a degree in Engineering. I have been both a manager and supervisor of a number of construction companies. I was a consultant to manufacturers and was president and CEO of CTA Precision Tool and Machine. More recently, my wife Sarah and I owned the Country Store and Story House Restaurant in Cohocton. At present, we operate a small hobby farm on Route 415 South where we raise White Tail and Fallow deer, and Boar goats. I believe teamwork is the key to Cohocton’s future prosperity and growth. Teamwork is the ability to work together towards a common goal, and the fuel that allows common people to achieve uncommon results. I want our residents to know that someone is listening to them. If you would like to work with me, please vote for me and all Independent Candidates on Nov. 6th.
