Town Clerk
I am running for Town Clerk in the Cohocton election November 6, 2007. My name is Blair Hall and my campaign appeals to every voter to support and elect the Independent Reform Cohocton ticket. I was born in Atlanta, NY and attended Naples Central School. I earned a BSc and MA degree from University College London. My formal education provides the discipline, organization, and grant application experience along with computer skills that will transform the Town Clerk into a model and trustworthy office. I will work with other Town Clerks to obtain regional grants. Let’s bring Cohocton government into the technical age, keep residents well informed and cooperate with other area municipalities. The Clerk’s office will be open evening hours to better accommodate working residents. All documents will be kept in the town hall under the Clerk’s supervision. Cohocton needs a website that is updated daily and provides easy access. The future of Cohocton must include and advance the benefit of all residents and property owners. The younger generation needs to be part of rebuilding our town. All citizens are owed an honest government. I pledge to all my neighbors to establish the highest professional standards for an ethical and competent Town Clerk administration. Cohocton MUST clean house in order to build a community that all citizens can take pride and call home. I ask for your vote and appeal to your moral courage to vote in the Independent Reform Cohocton team and turn out of office the current incumbents.
